Both offices use the same phone number, so no matter which one is closer to you, one call reaches us.
Nevada County Detention Facilities
Two facilities handle most bookings in Nevada County. We work with both regularly.
Nevada County Jail — Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. Located in Nevada City, one mile from our Nevada City office. Handles arrests from the western half of Nevada County. More information about Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
Truckee Detention Center. Located inside the Nevada County Sheriff's Office building on Donner Pass Road, a half-mile from our Truckee office. Handles arrests from the Truckee and Lake Tahoe area. More information about the Truckee Detention Center.
For either facility, we can post bail 24 hours a day. Depending on jail processing volume, release typically takes 20 minutes to a few hours after the bond is submitted.
